During this second national lockdown, The Archbishops of Canterbury and York have invited the nation to join them in prayer, in a message encouraging ‘calm, courageous and compassionate’ responses to the difficulties of the second national lockdown in England. They call upon the Church of England to make November 2020 a month of prayer for our nation.
And so, the bells of Southwell Minster, like many churches up and down the country, will ring at 6pm for five minutes every evening, as we pause to pray for the nation during lockdown.
We warmly encourage you to join us in prayer from the safety of your homes.
