We are very pleased to have been part of another fantastic week of music for this year’s Southwell Music Festival. It was bigger and better than ever, with 3,900 tickets purchased and 100 musicians performing who came from all over the UK and Europe. Thank you to all who took part as performers, audience members, organisers and volunteers – you all did an amazing job.

It has been particularly lovely to see some very favourable reviews of the festival and the Minster, including one from the Nottingham Post which dubbed the it ‘a paradise for music lovers’ and Hugh Canning’s write up in The Times, where he calls it ‘a community event of an outstandingly high standard’. Thank you to all who have shared your experiences, spreading word of the joy of this wonderful event.

Next year’s festival will be from Wednesday 26 to Monday 31 August, so be sure to put those dates in your diary.

In return for taking part you can enter a prize draw to win a mixed case of excellent wine kindly donated by award-winning independent wine retailer Mr & Mrs Fine Wine. The survey closes on Sunday 15 September.
