Church Action on Poverty – Sunday 21 February

Who?
This long-standing Christian charity supports and campaigns with and for people experiencing poverty in all its forms. Based in Manchester its work has fed into current lobbying for the extension of free school meals.

What are we doing to help?
The services on 21 February will include references to poverty and the charity. In the last few years members of the congregation have kindly recognised the importance of the work by donating to the charity in part from saving on their own food consumption on the day.
