Our principal Eucharist for Easter, with joyful music, and the Bishop of Southwell and Nottingham’s Easter sermon.

The President of the Eucharist is The Very Revd Nicola Sullivan, Dean of Southwell.
The Preacher is the Bishop of Southwell and Nottingham, The Rt Revd Paul Williams.
The Deacon is The Revd Dr Richard Frith, Canon Precentor.

The Lay Clerks of the Cathedral Choir are directed by Paul Provost, Rector Chori.
The organ is played by Jonathan Allsopp, Assistant Director of Music.
The setting for the Eucharist is Mass for Three Voices by William Byrd (c.1539-1623).

Please do join in at home as you are comfortably able: you may wish to stand, sit and kneel as you normally would in church (we have included instructions for posture in the order of service for this reason), and/or to speak and sing along with the congregational elements of the service.

Because of the continued risk from COVID-19 and the continuing restrictions, services will be different in some ways from what you may be used to; all services will be held in the nave, and numbers will be restricted.

The wearing of face coverings is now mandatory in all places of worship, so please bring a mask or other face covering with you unless you have a valid medical reason for not wearing one.
