The Cathedral for Nottinghamshire, Southwell Minster, has teamed up with the Children’s Society and Muddy Church to do Christingle in two ways this year. There will be a Christingle Trail around the grounds of The Minster along with take-away Christingle bags to make at home, and then the atmospheric Christingle Service will be in the Minster on Sunday afternoon.
For over 50 years Christingle services have been a tradition in many churches, raising essential funding for the work of the Children’s Society in changing the lives of children and young people for the better. The Trail and Service are open to anyone to join in on their own or in family groups – all you need for the Trail is a smart phone to follow QR codes, and to follow social distancing guidelines.
The Christingle Trail will be available:
Saturday 4 December 10am – 4pm
Sunday 5 December 10am – 4pm
The Christingle Service in the Minster:
Sunday 5 December, 5pm
