The Easter Liturgy
The lighting of the Easter fire, the proclamation of Easter, the renewal of baptismal vows, and a joyful celebration of Holy Communion in the most liturgically important service of the Christian year.
The President and Preacher is The Very Revd Nicola Sullivan, Dean of Southwell.
The Deacon is The Revd Dr Richard Frith, Canon Precentor.
The Lay Clerks of the Cathedral Choir are directed by Paul Provost, Rector Chori.
The organ is played by James Furniss-Roe, Organ Scholar.
The setting for the Eucharist is Mass for Three Voices by William Byrd (c.1539-1623)

Please do join in at home as you are comfortably able: you may wish to stand, sit and kneel as you normally would in church (we have included instructions for posture in the order of service for this reason), and/or to speak and sing along with the congregational elements of the service.
