In light of the Government guidance around non-essential contact, the Archbishops of Canterbury and York have issued advice that public worship is suspended until further notice. With that in mind, all concerts and events at Southwell Minster are cancelled until the suspension has been lifted.
This week’s Friday lunchtime concert is from our own Organ Scholar, James Furniss-Roe.
Home-made sandwiches (£2) and hot and cold drinks (£1) are available from 11.45am in the south transept. The concert lasts approximately 45 minutes.
Admission is free with a retiring collection.
Southwell Minster’s popular lunchtime concerts take place at 12.15pm on many Fridays, with performers coming from around the country to perform a wide variety of instrumental and vocal music in the spectacular setting of the Cathedral Nave.
