Members of the Nottingham Chamber Wind Ensemble will perform a concert of music including Three Shanties for Wind Quintet by Malcolm Arnold, Five Easy Dances by Denes Agay, Boulevard by Jim Parker and a light-hearted piece called Beethoven’s Fifth Bossa Nova – a loose arrangement by Terence Greaves of music from Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony.
Admission to this concert, which lasts approximately 45 minutes, is FREE. There is a retiring collection after the concert, proceeds of which go towards the Minster’s Milo Chorister Fund which helps support the Cathedral Chorister Programme. Please pick up a free programme upon your arrival. Prior to the concert, tea and coffee will be available for purchase from 1pm onwards. The concert will be preceded by tea and coffee – available from 1pm onwards.
