A lunchtime piano recital given by Joseph Murfin. After taking part in last year’s piano duet performance of Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, Joseph is delighted to be returning to give another lunchtime concert of piano music at Southwell Minister. His recital will include a diverse range of pieces by composers such as Beethoven, Stravinsky, and Bortkiewicz.
Admission to this concert, which lasts approximately 45 minutes, is FREE. There is a retiring collection after the concert, proceeds of which go towards the Minster’s Milo Chorister Fund which helps support the Cathedral Chorister Programme. Please pick up a free programme upon your arrival. Prior to the concert, tea and coffee will be available for purchase from 1pm onwards. The concert will be preceded by tea and coffee and biscuits – available from 1pm onwards.
