On Saturday 31 May, 2.30-4pm, volunteers will take you on a leisurely stroll to see this small but rare grasslands during the peak season for its wild flowers. The guides can help you identify species and explain how we manage the site. We have identified over 200 species on the grasslands, one of a dwindling number of unimproved grassland meadow and wet meadow sites in the UK.
Good footwear is advised because the ground is uneven.
Meet at Bishop’s Drive car park (next to the scout hut). Voluntary donations of £2 would be appreciated.
There will be another walk on Wednesday 4 June 6.30-8pm
