Come and celebrate the feast day of our local saint, Walter Hilton, a fourteenth-century canon at Thurgarton Priory, who was the first to write spiritual guides for lay people.
Eucharist featuring the West Trent Choir at 10.30 am at Thurgarton Priory, with visiting preacher, the poet and artist Toddy Hoare, followed by a pilgrimage across the fields to Southwell Minster, where Walter Hilton will be remembered at evensong at 3.30 pm.
