400 visitors came to the Archbishop’s Palace at Southwell Minster on Thursday 21st February to enjoy a day of Romans-themed crafts and activities. Minster Education Officer Diana Ives said:

“We were joined by Cookscool who helped us explore the types of food Romans might have eaten, and Southwell Community Archaeology Group brought some genuine finds from the locality for us to identify. With crafts, trails, items to handle and costumes to try on. It was great to see all generations enjoying themselves together and learning at the same time!”
