Southwell Minster will be accepting a special installation during Lent 2021 (Covid-restrictions allowing).
The sculpture reflects the place for sorrow of our world, whilst calling to mind the suffering of Christ.
The Very Reverend Nicola Sullivan, Dean of Southwell, said:
“We are pleased to welcome back local priest Jean Lamb to the Minster to display her new work. Its theme speaks loudly to us in the midst of the immense suffering, grief and loneliness of the pandemic. Here we see Christ, God himself, with us through it all, our companion and hope.”
