As a part of the global prayer initiative, ‘Thy Kingdom Come’, Southwell Minster invites you to participate in some special interactive prayer stations. Running until 9 June, please feel free to visit at your leisure, pick up a prayer station guide from the welcome desk and in your own time, taking as long as you like, visit each station.

These activities are also suitable for children to do with a carer, and provide an opportunity to pray for ourselves, others and the world as you take some time out from life’s busyness into the quiet of the beautiful Minster building. All are welcome at any time – and there is no entry charge. Diana Ives, Education Officer, says:

‘The Minster is always open for prayer and is a wonderful place to be still and reflect. It’s hoped that visitors will enjoy the opportunity to pray in a variety of new ways in its beautiful, peaceful surroundings. ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ events are happening across the Diocese and beyond and it’s great to be a part of this huge event.’
