Individual Conference or Meeting Rooms
Subject to availability Sacrista Prebend and gardens can be available for group use as a package. An advisory maximum number is twenty-five if the season is such that little use will be made of the gardens. More can be accommodated if the gardens are to play a significant part in the event. Catering can be arranged.
Room costs (per room):
- Full day (more than four hours) £120
- Hourly rate £20 with a minimum of 2 hours (£40)

These include tea and coffee on arrival. Lunch can be arranged at an approximate cost of £6.50 per person. Please see below for our various rooms which are available to hire.
The Lancelot Andrewes Conference or Training Room
A first-floor room which is available for parties or groups up to a maximum of 25. Furniture can be deployed in ‘boardroom’, ‘cabaret’ or ‘lecture’ format. Projector and flip chart can be available, along with integral hospitality provision.
The Sitting Room
A comfortably furnished room that can accommodate up to 15 people in soft furniture.
The Library
A somewhat more formal ambience reflecting the House’s history. 12 people can be accommodated for a meeting. Visitors are welcome to browse and borrow from the extensive theological and spiritual collection that it houses.
The Dining Room
This room seats 18 people in comfort and is usually used during catered occasions. It can also be used as a meeting room.
The St Laurence Room
A small, intimate, room suitable for individuals or meetings of up to 5 people. Situated on the ground floor, the room is also equipped to provide for overnight guests who might have difficulties with stairs.
The Chapel
The Chapel with its beautiful modern cross and prayerful atmosphere is a flexible space that can be used for worship, quiet prayer, reflection or learning. It can accommodate a maximum of 25.
Pets
We regret that other than assistance dogs, pets cannot be accommodated in Sacrista Prebend Retreat House. This is for the protection of guests who may have allergies.
Parking
The main car park is situated at the rear of the gardens, off Queen Street. Parking for the disabled is available close to the House through the Westgate entrance.
Disabled access
All rooms on the ground floor are accessible to wheelchair users. There is a disabled toilet.

Flip Chart, Screen, CD player.
Toilets
Toilets, including a disabled access toilet, and baby changing facilities are located on the ground floor (there are also 3 additional toilets upstairs, adjacent to the Lancelot Andrewes Conference/Training Room).
Gardens
There are extensive, delightful gardens for the enjoyment of guests. Sacrista Prebend is a member of the Quiet Gardens Movement.
