The Songs and Poems of Robert Burns
On the 25th January it will be 267 years since the birth of Robert Burns, Scotland’s most celebrated bard. This lunchtime’s performance will be narrated by Jill and Bernard Blackwell, with songs and poems from members of Southwell Minster Chorale.
Admission to this concert, which lasts approximately 45 minutes, is FREE. There will be a retiring collection, the proceeds of which help to fund the Minster’s Organ Scholarship. Please pick up a free programme upon your arrival. The concert will be preceded by tea and coffee – available from 1pm onwards.
