State Chamber / Great Hall

The Archbishop's Palace Southwell is one of the best kept secrets of Nottinghamshire, so why not have your special event here? The Palace is now completely wheelchair accessible, and the State Chamber can accommodate lunch, dinner, meetings, or tea and coffee. We have a catering facility to meet your culinary requirements, from canapes to hot and cold buffets, to tea with cakes, scones and sandwiches.

Our lovingly-maintained garden is full of lush foliage and flowers, the perfect place for special occasions. As appropriate, a marquee can be erected for wedding receptions, summertime dinners or other key events. Why not take a quick virtual tour of the State Chamber by clicking here. Please note the State Chamber closes at 5pm (4pm Sundays).
