Southwell Minster is located in the heart of rural Nottinghamshire. It is unique among English cathedrals in its blend of scale and intimacy. Built on the site of a Roman villa and later a Saxon church, the current 12th-century Romanesque building is widely considered one of the most beautiful of its kind in England.
We are looking for suitably qualified volunteers to join the Cathedral Fabric Advisory Committee (FAC). The FAC is an independent body of experts that advises on the conservation, care, repair, and development of the cathedral’s fabric, its setting, liturgical arrangements, and significant collections.
