Food and drink at the Minster
The Minster Pop-Up Cafe serves barista coffee, tea, freshly baked scones, iced coffee, ice cream, and delicious light breakfasts and lunches. A selection of vegetarian and gluten-free options is available daily.
NEWS: Something exciting is brewing! The Pop-Up Cafe's last day of trading will be Sunday 4 October. The cafe will then close while the Church Street building is renovated by our new catering partner. We look forward to sharing more about the cafe's next chapter in the coming weeks.

Whether you're looking for a gift, a good book, something for your home or a reminder of your visit to Southwell Minster, you'll find plenty to choose from in the Cathedral Shop.
We stock a carefully chosen range of gifts and books, with an emphasis on UK-made and ethically traded products. You'll find locally produced pottery, Nottingham Lace, hand-finished scarves and books about Southwell and the surrounding area, alongside Christian books and gifts, music and CDs, and items inspired by the Minster's remarkable architecture and carvings – including our much-loved Leaves of Southwell and mice.
NEWS: The Cathedral Shop is moving into Southwell Minster
The shop's last day of trading at its current Church Street location will be Sunday 4 October. The shop will continue inside the Minster, initially building on the current mini-shop already located to the right as you enter through the main door.
The new shop will develop over time, and we'll take care to create a space that feels at home within the Minster.
The Cathedral Shop is also an important point of welcome and contact for visitors to the Minster and to the town of Southwell. Our shop team and volunteers will continue to be at the heart of the shop in its new home.
The shop will continue to be open seven days a week, with opening times varying according to the Minster's activities.
