At the heart of the historic Archbishop’s Palace, the State Chamber is one of Nottinghamshire’s hidden gems – an elegant and flexible space for all kinds of gatherings.

Whether you’re planning a celebration, meeting or special event, the State Chamber offers a beautiful setting, with capacity for up to 110 guests. A modern on-site kitchen is available to support your catering arrangements – from light refreshments and buffets to formal meals. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible.

Step outside and you’ll find our carefully tended gardens, rich with colour and greenery – perfect for summer events, receptions, or simply a moment of calm. Marquees can be sited within the gardens.
