We are delighted to announce that in July and August we will be running The Minster Summer Pop-Up Cafe. The menu will include barista coffee, tea, freshly baked scones, iced coffee, ice cream, and delicious light breakfasts and lunches.
To make the most of the summer season, the pop-up will be serving from a variety of locations across the Minster grounds. During the first few weeks you’ll find us in the usual cafe location just off Church Street, next to the Cathedral Shop. Keep an eye on our Facebook page and website for opening hours and details of where to find the pop-up next.
Many of you will be aware that our current catering partner’s lease for the Refectory concludes at the end of June. We would like to express our deep gratitude to the Griffin family for their dedicated service over the past 30 years. Their contribution to the life of the Minster has been greatly appreciated by generations of customers, and we wish them every success and happiness in their new venture.
The Minster Summer Pop-Up Cafe will be up and running from Thursday 2 July.
