“The 3”, a new art exhibition (from ex-verger Clayton Davey) is on display at Southwell Minster until 21 October.
The aim of the exhibition is to reflect the Church’s role as a place where community, faith, and music come together. It explores how the Church is much more than a place of worship; it is a welcoming space that brings people together for many different reasons. Visitors may come to discover its history, participate in services, experience its rich musical tradition, volunteer, work, or simply feel part of a community and experience the sense of belonging, connection, and support that the Church provides. The exhibition encourages visitors to gain a greater appreciation and understanding of the Church as an inclusive space that serves both individuals and the wider community, where everyone is welcomed and valued.
