We love to see people enjoying their visit to the Minster. One of the key elements of the Leaves of Southwell project funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund is the research and design of a suite of new interpretation materials for visitors. In production is some furniture to house films and tactile models, new printed materials – a companion guide to the site plus a complete guide to the Chapter House – and a children’s guide. In the Palace gardens, new planting will be highlighted and the new garden trail is sure to be a hit with children. Photos show some samples and early design work.
