In a change to the concert originally advertised, this lunchtime recital will now be given by Eydon — Lynda Edwards (bassoon) and Pippa Mason (‘cello) — a great opportunity to hear two bass instruments playing together with a selection of arranged classics, like Pachelbels Canon, alongside a couple of film scores and Mozart’s Sonata for bassoon and cello.
Admission to this concert, which lasts approximately 45 minutes, is FREE. There will be a retiring collection, the proceeds of which help to fund the Minster’s Organ Scholarship. Please pick up a free programme upon your arrival. The concert will be preceded by tea, coffee and biscuits – available from 1pm onwards.
