Join the Leaves of Southwell project at Southwell Minster for a day learning all about ancient, veteran and notable trees!
Kevin Stanley, volunteer verifier for the Ancient Tree Inventory, will lead a training day of class-based discussion and practical outside work, to increase our knowledge and understanding of trees.

- Introduction to the Ancient Tree Inventory, managed by the Woodland Trust
- Discover how to identify and record ancient, veteran and notable trees in your local area.
- Explore different methods of identifying tree species.
Please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work.
Bring a packed lunch or there are places to buy food in the local area.
This is a free event made possible by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Places are limited and booking is essential.
