‘The Tears of the Muses’—In Greek mythology, the nine Muses gave inspiration, knowledge, artistry, and music to the ancient world. In this showcase, Arculo Viol Consort explores the use of Muses in 16th and 17th century writing, whilst also performing favourites by Byrd, Dowland, Holborne, and Hume.
