11.45am – 12.45pm (with option to go to Holy Communion at the Minster at 1.15pm)
Sacrista Prebend Garden
‘The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations’ Rev. 22:2
As part of the Leaves of the Trees exhibition in the Minster, we are offering a morning of prayerful reflection just across the road from the Minster in the beautiful grounds of the Sacrista Prebend (4 Westgate).
We encourage you to witness the spectacular Leaves of the Trees exhibition in the Sanctuary of the Minster from 11am, after which we invite you to join us in the garden of Sacrista for an hour of prayerful reflection on the theme from the exhibition of hope in the midst of loss and struggle. How might the leaves around us help us to experience God’s consolation? We will meet at the front door of Sacrista at 11.45am for an hour.
You may wish to bring refreshments to eat in the grounds or have a quick bite at The Refectory. You are then most welcome to join us as we head to the Minster for the service of Holy Communion at 1.15pm.
Due to the coronavirus restrictions, numbers are limited to 30 so booking is essential. Donations welcome and will go to the Sacrista renovation project and maintenance of the gardens. The house will be closed.
Michèle Hampson, warden of Sacrista.
