We’re pleased to be able to share some images of the
lighting to the outside of the Minster, newly installed in the last two weeks. This is part of the programme of repairs, updates and conservation taking place across the site as part of the #LeavesofSouthwell project, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. The new lamps provide ambient lighting to the grounds at night, improving safety and accessibility, while also supporting the new flood lights which will improve the visual impact of this beautiful building at night. We can’t wait to share the first images of the Minster lit up again soon.
