New for 2026 - Anglo-Saxons in Southwell
An learning and activity day in partnership with Southwell Community Archaeology Group. Using evidence, costume, objects and archaeology, we explore the ancient history of Southwell’s Anglo Saxon church, explore the life and burial of those who walked before us and discover how Christianity may have come to Mercia.
