Informal Family Fun

Several times a year we organise family fun days and activities – normally in the summer holidays and February Half Term - as well as popping up at the Bramley Festival of food and drink with crafts and trails. Events are often drop in, no booking needed, although sometimes numbers are restricted, and booking will be necessary. It will tell you on our publicity. Events are advertised via our social media platforms, on the website and through posters and flyers in the Minster/ Palace/ Cathedral shop.

If you’re just making a casual visit to the Minster with children in your care, you’ll always find a trail available from our friendly stewards at the welcome desk. Trails change throughout the year, and aim to introduce our youngest visitors to the Minster, by taking them on a walk around, encouraging them to spot and learn as they go.
