Informal Family Fun

Several times a year we organise family fun days and activities – normally in the summer holidays and February Half Term - as well as popping up at some of our fairs or exhibitions with crafts and trails. Events may be free to drop-in or bookable with a small fee to cover expenses. Events are advertised via our social media platforms, on the website and through posters and flyers in the Minster/ Palace/ Cathedral shop.

If you’re just making a casual visit to the Minster with children in your care, you’ll always find a trail available from our friendly stewards at the welcome desk. Click here to find out more.

May Half Term Activities: Something new is sprouting at the Minster this May - an exciting Forest School offering invites children to step outdoors, get hands‑on with nature and experience learning in a way that’s joyful, meaningful and rooted in discovery - all within the beautiful Palace Gardens! 25-27 May.
