Just a few weeks until the wonderful Spring Plant Just a few weeks until the wonderful Spring Plant Hunters Fairs returns to the Palace Gardens at Southwell Minster. Sunday 18 May, 11am - 4pm There will be alpines, herbs, grasses, woodland plants, variegated foliage, roses, unusual perennials, hardy exotic fruiting plants, heritage fruit trees, hardy geraniums, wildflowers, primroses and much more. Plus rusty metal garden stakes, plants, wall decorations and garden sculptures. Happy Easter one and all! Christ is Risen – Alle Happy Easter one and all! Christ is Risen – Alleluia Join us at 10am for our Easter Eucharist, with joyful music, and the Bishop of Southwell and Nottingham’s Easter sermon. Following the service, there will be a Blessing of the Easter Garden in the Palace Gardens – and also our ever-popular Easter Egg hunt for children! And we finish with Evensong at 3.30pm, as we gather to hear Easter readings and music, giving voice to the joy of the Resurrection. All welcome

Meet at 10.00am at Our Lady of Victories Church on Halam Road and join in the procession to the Minster. All welcome to stay as the Palm Sunday Liturgy continues in the Minster, with the Passion Gospel sung in dramatic form by the Cathedral Choir. Craft activity for children also available.
